Wife reports husband after finding child sex abuse material on his electronic devices, deputies say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN/Gray News) - A Nebraska man has been arrested for allegedly possessing child sexual abuse material.According to the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office, Timmy Lee Topil, 60, was arrested Tuesday after his wife reported finding suspected child sexual abuse material on thumb drives and a tablet belonging to him.Topil and his wife reportedly were separated when the matter was reported to authorities.Lancaster County authorities said Topil had been living in a camper near Branched Oak Lake, where the material was found in a backpack.Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Ben Houchin said Topil’s wife shared with the department that she had an “inkling he was looking at improper things.”Following an interview with Topil, the sheriff’s office said the content appeared to have been downloaded from the internet.Topil was taken to an adult detention facility and booked on suspicion of possession of child sexual abuse material, a felony charge punishable by up to 20 yea
